The 2nd ACPMB Annual Meeting'10 took place on Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010 in St. Vital Park, Winnipeg, where about 20 professors attended. Jiuyong Xie presided the meeting.

3. Transfer of Presidency: Prof. Xi Yang assumed the ACPMB Presidency for the year 2010/2011.
   
4. Election for President-Elect (10/11) and board members (10/12), presided by President Prof. Xi Yang. Ballots were collected and votes were counted on site.  Pro. Yuewen Gong was elected as President-Elect. The five newly elected board members are the follwoing Professors:  Canming Hu, Ying Kong, Simon Liao, Qingjin Peng and Xikui Wang.
5. Approval of the ACPMB bylaw: Members have the option to pay a total of $300 in once (including the past contributions) for a lifetime membership of ACPMB. This was supported by 12 out of the 17 members present and therefore approved.

President Xi Yang and President-Elect Yuewen Gong each gave a brief speech about ACPMB plans to help and facilitate exchanges among members and between Canadian and Chinese scholars. Members are encouraged to get actively involved in ACPMB. Prof. Simon Liao brought food and drink in the name of ACPMB, and together with other members' contributions, made it possible for everyone to enjoy an afternoon of barbecue and Annual Meeting.
